End quote from Sharh Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh (11/3372). This is clear from the hadith of Jaabir ibn ‘Abdillah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “O people, fear Allah and be moderate in seeking a living, for no soul will die until it has received all its provision, even if it is slow in coming. Everything happens with Allah’s will and permission. In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad That you worship Allah and do not associate any partners with Him, that you pray for five prayers, that you listen and obey, and that you do not ask people for anything. Source: Sahih Muslim 1043, Grade: Sahih. The companions were so careful to obey this command that they would not ask for help even in small matters. Awf ibn Malik said: The Kindness of Allah and His Messenger. Allah – who has names such as the All-Mighty, All-Aware, The King – also has names such as The Merciful, The Forgiver, The Nourisher. Verily, Allah is kind and merciful to the people. (Quran 2:143) Humans cannot compare to Allah, yet they can show a little bit of the attributes of kindness. Such as “and remember Allah much, that you may be successful” [al-Jumu‘ah 62:10]. Ibn Katheer (may Allah have mercy on him) said: That is, when you are buying and selling, giving and taking, remember Allah much, and do not let this world distract you from that which will benefit you in the Hereafter. End quote. Tafseer Ibn Katheer (8/1 23) Things that no one is able to do except Allah are not to be sought from anyone else, such as sending down rain, causing crops to grow, relief of distress, guidance away from the wrong paths, and forgiveness of sins. No one in creation is able to do these things; no one is able to do them except Allah. End quote from Majmoo‘ al-Fataawa (1/370)

Allah says in the Quran: Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful. ( 39:53) This is one of the most hope-inspiring and morale-restoring verses of the Quran.
